Book Trailer
A book trailer is a 'commercial-like' video that promotes the themes of the book and urges students to read the book on their own. The book trailer should be a creative mix of summary, quotes, visuals, and music. The key to a good book trailer is giving the audience enough summary to entice the viewer without giving away the ending!

Book Talk
A book talk is an interpretive telling of the story that entices your audience to read the book. The book talk includes 'read-alouds,' which is the reading aloud of the most important or controversial passages of the novel. You, then, must explain how these passages contribute to the theme of the novel. Remember to choose passages that will intrigue your audience!

Book Presentation
A book presentation is an analysis of a novel presented on slides. The goal of a book presentation is to explain how the author builds the themes of the novel. Your book presentation should include a title page, author page, explanation of the plot & how it relates to the theme, an explanation of the symbols in the book & how they relate to the theme, the use of one critical lens and how it relates to the theme, and textual evidence to support what your interpretation of the theme.
